New branding and website for the company electrifying ports globally
The Challenge
Plug electrifies ports worldwide, enabling ships to connect to clean shore power instead of running their own engines at the dock. Since its inception in Bergen, the company has grown from a local initiative into an international player with significant ambitions. However, its brand and website were designed for an earlier chapter. While the colors, typography, and structure worked when they were chosen, they no longer kept pace with the company's trajectory. The challenge was to build a brand and website that matched Plug's global position and could continue to grow with the company.
The Solution
We built something new together with Plug. Not just a small update, but a comprehensive brand and website that scales and reflects their ambitions. The visual identity was refreshed with a clearer profile, a modernized color palette, and typography that signals technology, trust, and long-term vision. We highlighted the story of a company that invests, builds, and stays committed.
The website was developed in Webflow, a scalable platform that makes it easy for Plug to update content and continue growing independently. We designed a structure that highlights key figures and results, makes the complex message of port electrification easy to understand, and provides visitors with an intuitive and engaging experience across all devices. The result is a brand and website that is never truly finished, but rather living, ready to evolve further in step with the company.
