Why Webflow was right for Headwind
We redesigned and migrated Headwind's website from WordPress to Webflow. The result is faster loading, tidier navigation, better content hierarchy, and higher conversion rates. On site SEO was reviewed at all stages and set to a level that can withstand long-term growth.
Why Headwind Would Move
Headwind wanted a page that is easier to maintain and faster to use. They would also have better visibility in searches, clearer communication of services and a safer way to direct visitors to contact and meeting booking. The WordPress installation had grown over time. Plugin dependencies, theme layers and uneven structure made editor everyday heavy. We proposed Webflow to get control of structure, speed and design quality in one system.
What We Delivered
- New information architecture that mirrors how customers actually orient themselves
- Redesign with clear typography and visual cues for action
- Migrating to Webflow with Modular CMS for Services, Industries, and Articles
- Technical and content SEO at page level and template page templates
- Forms that are short and clear, with fewer steps to contact
- Tracking setup to measure conversions and content performance

Redesign that prioritizes action
The front page was tightened in around three questions users frequently have. What does Headwind offer, for whom and what is the next step. We removed distractions and gathered important pathways further into a clear top section. Service pages have a short introduction, explanation with points and a clean action surface that does not fight for attention. Contact surfaces are visible where motivation is high. It feels natural to take a step further when you have an answer to what you were wondering.
Migration without loss of power
A migration must preserve values that already reside in the domain. We mapped the entire content before moving and made a record of URLs, internal links, and traffic. Then we set up 301 redirects from old addresses to new ones, cleaned away duplicates and ensured proper canonical. Images were optimized with proper dimensions and alt texts. The result is a structure that is more logical for both people and search engines. Content now resides in pure collections with fields for metadata, snippets, categories, and relationships. The editors can update without breaking the design.

On site SEO in place
We went through every page and every template page template with fixed checklists.
- Meta titles within pixel length that are actually read in search result
- Descriptions that respond to the intent of the search
- Proper use of H1 and H2, short paragraphs and meaningful anchor texts
- Internal links that build thematic coherence
- Structured data for organization, services, and articles where relevant
- Fast first view on mobile and good visual stability
This provides a foundation that both humans and machines thrive on. For Headwind, that means better visibility on important searches and a page that's easier to keep up to date.
Navigation that provides an overview
The menu shows fewer choices that are better chosen. Services and industries are grouped in a way that makes sense for the target audience. Breadcrumbs and clear section headings make it easy to understand where one is. On mobile, the menu is fast and predictable. The search bar highlights the most visited pages and provides shortcuts to contact.
Conversion work in practice
We took down the friction around contact. Forms are short and simple, with fields that are actually needed. The text around the forms explains expectations, response time and what happens after submission. Action buttons use clear language and stand in the right context. These are small choices, but they count. Visitors spend less time hesitating and more time finishing.
Performance and Availability
The code is sleek and the media controls are tight. Images are loaded in the correct formats. Text contrast and focus markings make the page readable and usable for more people. We tested fluency with keyboard and screen reader. It provides a better experience for everyone, not just for those who need it most.

Content that can grow
The Webflow layout is designed for a small team. Services, articles, references, and people have fields that cover both display and SEO. New pages can be published quickly, with consistent layout and proper semantics. This is important for a player who will be present over time. A page that is easy to maintain is also maintained.
What this means for Headwind
Headwind now stands with a website that delivers on three things. It explains the value of the services in a way that is easy to understand. It directs visitors to the right action without resistance. It is built for continuous improvement, both in content and in performance. This makes the site a living resource. It can evolve in tandem with the brand, the market and the needs of the target audience.

Key grips, briefly summarized
- Tighten information architecture and clear ways forward
- Template pages with fields that control both design and SEO
- Neat migration with 301 redirects and proper canonical
- Lightweight mobile experience that prioritizes speed and tranquility
- Clear contact surfaces and measurement of conversions
The way forward
Launch is a starting point. We monitor searches, traffic and behavior on site. We adjust texts, links and elements where users stop. We add content that answers new questions. Small improvements over time give more effect than big lifts once in a while. This is how the site stays useful, and so that value creates a professionally strong player that Headwind expects.
